Quit your job and go traveling :)

    Some weekends on tour and there comes now my first long term study :) ....          

Einige Wochenend-Fahrten sind nun vergangen und hier kommt meine erste Langzeit-Studie :) ....      

Yeaah, There are some weaknesses in the system :).
The bed is great, but the folding mattress is not 100% comfortable. The attempt to create a place to sleep for a second person, failed. A major remodeling of seating to bed at night is tedious. Is there no way to simply fall into bed ??

Understandings:

- The system must be as simple as possible
- No big fancy to rebuilt the bedsystem for the night
- Carpets getting dirty quickly :)
- Candles are melting in a car :)
- Folding mattresses are good for one / two nights but not as the main bed
- Electricity and water would be cool
- Simple place for second sleeper
- some stuff i really need to buy, like a camping dishes
- Everything what is big and heavy is not suitable
- An under-bed storage system for the luggage would be great

Jaaaaaaa, es gibt Schwächen im System :)
Grundsätzlich funktioniert alles. Aber es kann noch besser gehen. Das Bett mit der Faltmatraze ist nicht 100% bequem. Der Versuch einen Schlafplatz für eine zweite Person einzurichten, ist gescheitert. Gibt es nicht einfach eine Möglichkeit abends ins Bett zu fallen ??

Erkenntnisse:

- Das System muss so einfach wie möglich sein
- Keine grossen Umbauten am Abend fürs Schlafen
- Teppiche im Bus werden schnell dreckig :)
- Kerzen im Bus schmelzen :)
- Faltmatratzen sind gut für ein / zwei Nächte, aber keine Dauerlösung
- Fliessend Wasser und Strom wäre cool
- Einfach Möglichkeit auch zu zweit im Bus zu schlafen
- Manche Sachen muss einfach als Camping-Ausrüstung gekauft werden, wie zb das Geschirr
- Alles was gross und schwer ist, ist nicht geeignet für das Busleben
- Ein Ordnungssystem unter dem Bett wäre hilfreich

Deshalb muss ein Bus-Update 2.0 her :) !!!

At first.... the bed is a problem... So again passed through the apartment and rummage around :). Another bed is found quickly. It is a little wider, and I could use my normal mattress. 1m wide for me and with some tinkering to 1,20m extendable. actually perfect!

Here and there sawed off a few corners and tuned slightly higher and already it fits in my bus. A small table is assembled quickly too. Now i will / have to eat in bed... dont care. Advantage is that the blanket, pillows and everything needs for sleep, remains on the bed. A bedspread on it. Done. 

And in the evening now..... it means..... stop and fall into bed. Sounds so simple :). Lets try this one....

Als Erstes, das Bett ist ein Problem: Beim Durchstöbern der Wohnung ist ein anderes Bett schnell gefunden. Es ist etwas breiter als das Alte und ich könnte meine ganz normale Matratze verwenden. 1m für mich Alleine und mit etwas einfacher Bastellei umbaubar auf 1,2m. Das sollte genügen. Also hier und da ein paar Ecken und Kanten weggesägt und etwas höher getuned und schon passt es in den Bus. Ein kleiner Tisch ist auch schnell gebaut, nun gibt es eben Frühstück im Bett, auch toll :).

Und am Abend heisst es.... anhalten .....und ins Bett fallen... Klingt soooo einfach :) !!

Auch gibt es noch ein kleines Wandregal. Staaauurraaauuuummmmmm willkommen !!!!
Also, there is a new small wall shelf for stttuuuuufffffffffffff :) !!!!!

Nun ein Gefühl wie an Weihnacht:  Im Internet etwas gestöbert und so einige Dinge gefunden.... 
Now the feeling of christmas is coming... so many thinks i could found in the internet what i need :) !!!

Alles was man ( bzw Frau ) für das Camping - Leben braucht :) !!!

Jetzt kommt die Zeit des LUXUS :)!!! Ich habe mich dazu entschlossen ein kleines Waschbecken in den Bus einzubauen, dass über eine Pumpe fliessendes Wasser liefert :) !!!!! Natürlich, wieder so einfach aber effektiv wie möglich....  Der alte Badschrank war schnell ausgewählt perfekt dafür zu sein. Wieder ein bisschen kreative Säge- und Schrauberei und meine Waschstelle ist fertig.  

Now there comes luxury :) !!! I decided to build in a small sink in the bus. With a small pump with running water :) ! Again simple but effective. And of course, self designed. This old bath cupboard seems perfect for my ideas :). With again creativ saw and screw there is an canister with fresh water on the top and a level below a simple bucket for wastewater.

Mal "schnell" eingebaut und schaut doch garnicht so schlecht aus :) :

Auf meine letzte Erneuerung bin ich besonderst stolz! Mein eigenes kleines Stromnetzwerk. Die Idee ist einfach wie gut. Wenn ich irgendwo stehe und die Sonne scheint kommt ein Solarpanel auf das Dach und es wird Strom produziert !!!! Für mich startet nun ein neues Kapitel. Inzwischen habe ich mich in der Welt der Mechanik mit Sägen und Schrauben sehr wohlgefühlt, nun werde ich jetzt zum Elektriker :) !!! 

Vielen Dank hier gilt meinem Daddy, ohne den ich das System sicher nicht zum laufen gebraucht hätte!! Und ausser einer kleinen, ... ok... zwei kleinen Explosionen ;).... hat auch alles auf Anhieb geklappt. Und ja, die Explosion war nicht eine Schwäche im System, sondern nur eine Dummheit meinerseits immer das billigste kaufen zu müssen......... Einen Tag lang haben wir verlegt, installiert und gemessen und ich habe so einiges gelernt über die Welt der Stromes :) ..... 

My latest renewal, iam really proud for, is now my own power supply system !! The idea is simple as good. If there is sun and iam staying somewhere, put the solar panel on the roof and make power!

In the mechanical world of sawing and screwing felt really well, is Michi now going as Electricians :)

Thanks to my daddy for helping me to build in the system !! Except for a small, ok two small explosions everything worked fine and I learned so much about the world of the power :) !  And yeah, the explosions was not because our wrong buildings.. it was because my stupiness always to buy the cheapest one :P.
